Bible Study: Tuesday at 7:00 PM, In Person and Zoom
A 5-week series, with film clips as well as scripture, looking at the varying ways in which the Bible and religion have been portrayed on film.
Every Tuesday Starting November 10th
From 7pm – 8 pm

Week 1 (November 10th) “THE TEN COMMANDMENTS”... not the familiar version with Charlton Heston, but the original silent film made in 1923.
Week 2 (November 17th) “DAVID AND BATHSHEBA,” an interpretation of the life of King David.
Week 3 (November 24th) “THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ST. MATTHEW,” for it’s a time of revolutionary depiction of the life of Christ.
Week 4 (December 1st) Two holiday-themed looks at the redemption of sinners:
“A CHRISTMAS CAROL” and “HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS”
Week 5 (December 8) The healing power of Christmas: “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE.”
