The Beverly United Methodist Women meet twice a year for fellowship and a meal to discuss mission work
There are two smaller groups under the Women in Faith:

Our Mary and Martha group also known as the M and M’s was developed to assist the Pastor with shut in and illness visitations.  They also organize the Blessing Bags which are distributed for Christmas and again at Easter to our shut-ins.
continued the Mason Jar Ministry which are filled with comfort items to take when making a sick visit or a nursing home visit.  These included hand cream, cup a soup, hot chocolate, Chap Stick, cough drops, tissues, raisins, hand sanitizers, glasses cleaner wipes and crosses.  We at first made 12 jars and have replenished our supply a couple of times already. These Comfort Jars are available for members of the congregation or the Pastor to take when visiting members who are sick.  We hope to be able to make our congregation aware of these jars once again as visitation has opened in hospitals and nursing homes.  (and in case you are wondering, M & M's are served at every meeting!
